Show Dates: May 3 - Aug 24, 2011 | Opening:Thursday, May 5, 6-8pm

"scramble(d)" is the Jerry Adams Gallery's third annual summer
student exhibition featuring digital and traditional media.
Exhibiting artists include Rosa Maria C. Alfaro, Antonio Cortez,
Steve Haimovitz, Harley Jensen, Zohra Kalinkowitz, Gabriel Martinez,
Charley Paff, Samuel Sloane, Barry M. Shapiro, Tom Trippe,
Gary Turchin, Matthew Valencia, Renate Valenciam Michael Wade.
This show was juried and curated by artist and Berkeley City College
digital photography instructor, Bijan Yashar.

About the theme, Yashar writes:
Through a deluge of information and ever-proliferating media streams,
contemporary culture produces a mishmash of expressions
at a staggering and exponential pace. The resulting scramble is
simultaneously liberating and overwhelming, horrid and beautiful. Art
and Multimedia Art students at Berkeley City College were invited to
respond to the notion of scramble[d], broadly considering the various
meanings of the theme.
